Message from the Connie, Oliver, Ellie, Isla and William :
We will be holding a non-uniform fun day in school on 28th May to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. We have been busy in school teaching the children about what dementia is and making sure they know the 5 key messages which make us dementia friends. On the day we will be wearing our own clothes making crafts and gifts and recording some songs for a local care home. We will also be having lots of memory themed fun and doing activities that improve our brain power.
We have chosen this charity because we have family members who have suffered from dementia and also because after such a difficult year we want to do something to help out the local community.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Any donations you can make would be really appreciated.
