Coast to Coast Costa Rica 2014 · 6 November 2014

We provide valuable support to veterans to empower and guide them on their journey.

Story

Buenos Dias from Matheo y Karlos.

Sponsor us as we cycle for charity across Costa Rica from the Pacific to the Caribbean. This backbreaking charity bike ride encompasses traditional Costa Rican farmlands, bustling colonial cities, stunning mountain ranges, smouldering volcanoes and tropical Caribbean lowlands. Home to more than 130 species of snake including the deadly Verde Lance, Costa Rica contains the greatest density of species in the world playing host to a huge variety of poisonous insects and reptiles... (not to forget the nutty drivers!)

Our challenge is to cycle the 500km from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean sea in 7 days whilst suffering in 30C heat. El scorchio! This challenge will be made tougher by the fact that Karl failed his cycling proficiency in Year 5 and hasn't touched a bike since and Matt is yet to master riding without stabilisers.
