For 10 years we have empowered young people and their families to improve their mental health and re-engage with education. Demand for our services has grown by 40% in the last two years alone - we are now needed more than ever to turn lives around.

Story

For 10 years One-Eighty been empowering children, young people and their families to improve their mental health and re-engage with education.

I am fortunate not to have been exposed to trauma, bereavement, mental health challenges or difficult familial circumstances. But I have seen first hand the incredible and important work that One-Eighty does to support those that are not as fortunate as me.

To celebrate the work One-Eighty has done over the last 10 years I have muscularly cajoled my friends Antony and Adam to cycle (almost) 180 miles and over 12,000ft of elevation, Coast to Coast from the Irish Sea to the North Sea.

Our journey will have a starting point and a destination with many undulating highs and lows; gear grinding, lung busting ascents and free wheeling, hair raising descents. We don't profess to know what our service users go through, but we hope our journey will be emblematic of the much bigger real life challenges they face every day.

For over 12 years, we have transformed the lives of marginalised young people aged 4-18 across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Living with profound and complex needs, we support young people who others struggle to access; falling through the cracks in support between health and education.
