I was always planning to run my 24th marathon in Liverpool on Sunday but the events of 22nd May made me realise that I have to use this event to request support from my many friends around the world. 

Support for the victims of the terrible tragedy that took place in my home city - so that we can show solidarity and love for the families ruined by this event and for the people of my great home.
