Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be helping to support everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Alzheimer’s and dementia were responsible for taking our nanan and grandad, and now, at just 59 years old, our beautiful, funny, feisty Auntie Jack has received the shocking diagnosis that she too has Alzheimer’s.

For anyone who knows our auntie jack, I’m sure you agree we need a cure immediately to prevent this awful cruel disease and to restore her back to the confident young at heart party girl she is.

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you dont need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise. So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk
