The fund, organised by The British Red Cross Society, will cover
countries currently affected and those potentially affected in the future, by this or subsequent adverse weather in the region.  Local Red Cross volunteers are already on the ground ready to give first aid, shelter and water to those affected.  In the unlikely event that the charity raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world.  

All staff donations will be matched 100% by the Group.
