Campaign by Make-A-Wish Foundation UK (RCN (England & Wales) 295672 (Scotland) SC037479)
We have an incredible group of #WishHeroes who will be taking on an Ultra Challenge this year. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness for critically ill children.

Story

On Saturday 14 May colleagues from across Close Brothers Group, will set off from Corfe Castle on a challenging 34km walk to Weymouth!

Our team consists of: Cassie Conyers, Emily Dodsworth, Ryan Coughlan, Helen Thorpe, Faith Stubbings, Lucy Earley, Mary Glennon, Mandy Edgar, Nicole Wilson, Tim Clark, Adele Heatlie, Anuradha Suryavanshi, Patricia Williams, Matthew Brown, Mark Morley, Nick Aust, Nicole Wilson, Monica Judge and Paul Grout

This is no small feat but the walk is in aid of our company charity partner, Make-A-Wish® UK, an incredible charity who create life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

This event marks the start to Charity Week 2022 and all funds raised will be 100% matched by the company.

Make-A-Wish® UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness.
