Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, cancer has had a big impact on us over the past couple of years, with Dad passing away from prostrate cancer, Aoife's godmother Rachel having to face a very aggressive breast cancer and now my sister Oonagh is being treated for a very rare leiomyoscarcoma (thankfully caught early).  The humilation I face in being beaten over 5K in the pool by Aoife is nothing compared to the treatment and mental anguish that they face.  Here's hoping that there will be that great breakthrough in the treatment of cancer.  Your sponsorship will make a difference.

So please dig deep and donate now.
