On Sunday Sept 12 I did the Pedal For Scotland from Glasgow to Edinburgh.

It was 51 miles and it is the furthest I have ever cycled.

The weather was fantastic and the scenery great, once we got outside of Glasgow.

I couldn't believe it when the Forth bridges came into sight and I was thrilled when I crossed the finishing line in Victoria Park. We were bussed back to Glasgow and then I made the rash decision to cycle back to East Kilbride. Wish I had waited for a lift!

As you can see I have raised some money for the Kilbryde Hospice. Thanks to everyone who has donated. It is still not too late to give something. The money goes straight to them.
