The staff at Bidwells are celebrating the company's 175th anniversary with all offices getting together on Thursday 26 July at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. Most of the Scottish staff are flying down but Graeme Duncan (from our Perth office) and I, along with two friends from the north, have decided to cycle from Perth to Stowe to raise fund money for CHAS. The intention is to cycle about 500 miles over 5 days.

CHAS is the only charity in Scotland that provides vital hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. They offer care for the whole family in their two children’s hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch. They also run a homecare service called CHAS at Home helping families in their own homes across Scotland when they need it most. They are currently supporting over 300 families, as well as a significant number of families who receive bereavement support. Their services are funded mainly through the generosity of their many supporters who help them to raise over £9 million needed each year to provide these hospice services. - See more at: http://www.chas.org.uk

This event has been organised to raise money for CHAS, who have been chosen by Bidwells as its nominated charity as part of the Firm's fundraising initiative in celebration of Bidwells' 175 anniversary , and in support of CHAS' essential work for children's hospices.
