Cliodhna McCorley's 30th Birthday Fundraising
Fundraising for The National Brain Appeal
Fundraising for The National Brain Appeal
Hello lovely people
Today it’s my 30th birthday! And though we’re in lockdown 3.0, the world is hurting and there will be no party, I am looking back with nothing but gratitude at the fact that I’m still here, alive and healthy, thanks to the National Brain Appeal. I’m asking for donations (as a birthday present 🥳) to give back.
In 2015, I was diagnosed with a large brain tumour and brain surgery followed to remove it. It was the darkest, hardest and scariest time of my life. Everyday I feel so blessed and thankful that those days are far behind me. Thanks to the incredible care given to me at the National Hospital of Neurology and neurosurgery (aka National Brain Appeal), I survived and have gone on to thrive.
Many others are not so lucky. The hospital needs your support. Please donate whatever you can, one pound or one million, to support their life saving work. The NHS is struggling right now and anything you can do to support would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way to helping the 1 in 5 people in the UK diagnosed with a neurological condition.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey to recovery and my fundraising efforts over the years. I am truly so very grateful and so is the hospital.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Lots of love
