Story

On the 11th October 2012 I will be flying to Tanzania to attempt to climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro.  Originally when I decided to do the climb I was raising money for a shark and marine conservation charity called Bite-Back.  Whilst still raising money for them in my last few weeks I also want to try and raise some money in memory of an amazing person - Lucy who sadly passed away recently.

Lucy was so inspirational and had an impact on so many lives.  She was the founder of the SAFE foundation and it is one of the legacies she has left behind.  Lucy devoted her life to tackling poverty in devloping countries and set up projects in Uganda, Zambia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, India and Nepal.

She achieved so much in her life and I want to try and use the climb to make a contribution to the SAFE foundation in memory of Lucy and the incredible work she did.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.  Please give what you can to help continue the work of the SAFE foundation.
