Story
In memory of Caroline Flack, Caroline's close friends and family attempted to climb 24 peaks over 24 hours this weekend.
Each day they trekked 12 hours, through rain, wind and shine they took on the most iconic mountains across the Lake District with Caroline in their hearts with the knowledge that the money raised will help others.
They wanted to raise as much awareness and as much funding as they possibly could for the leading suicide prevention charity, Samaritans to ensure anyone affected by suicide can get access to help and support they need.
Bradley Simmonds who initiated the climb comments: "I was Caroline's personal trainer and good friend. I was devastated by the loss and still am. I know how much exercise helped Caroline with her mental health so I wanted to create a challenge where her family and friends can come together and do something powerful in her memory. Hopefully this challenge will raise awareness for others to seek support whilst also raising money for Samaritans".
Every £5 raised for Samaritans answers a call for help.
If you're struggling, Samaritans are here for you - day or night, 365 a year. Call free on 116 123 (within the UK or Ireland) or email jo@samaritans.org.
Thank you so much for your support, we're nearly at our target so every little counts!
Love from Caroline's family and friends xx
