100,000-step challenge!!!
Taking 100,000 steps in one day may sound insane but after a proposal as a charity event by members of Challenge Life Fitness, we just knew we would take it on.
On Saturday 5th March 2022 we want to walk 100,000 steps for Footprints Conductive Education Centre who are a local charity based in Sneinton, Nottingham. They enable babies and pre-school aged children with motor difficulty or motor development delay to develop their mobility, coordination and communication skills.
There will be a team of 13 of us to complete this challenge in its entirety as well as anyone who wants to join us for a leg or support along the way. We will also have the most amazing support crew in vans following our every move or step along the way
We will be starting in the middle of the night and potentially walking about 45 miles to raise money for a great cause.
The route will start and finish from Kimberley and take in some of the best landmarks across our wonderful city over what could be 20 hours walking.
Our walking team will be:
Jay Wright
Mel Wright
Lisa Hayman Tansley
Deb Hayman
Keri Westby
Rachel Moore
Hayley Evans
Darren Evans
Colleen Fordham
Cheryl Draper
Mel Whitehead
Steve Robinson-Day
Rosie James
We also have a member of Footprints joining us on the day to complete the challenge alongside us.
Karen Whitehall
Our amazing support crew will be:
Ellis Tansley
Steve Hayman
Kerstine Herbert
Please support us on what will be a huge but worth while challenge 😀
