Story

The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport through its unique Get Busy Living centre in rural Leicestershire. The centre provides expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice to people suffering a life-changing injury. The centre’s doors were opened in 2018 by Founder and ex-England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005. Matt Hampson Foundation 2022 - YouTube

I've had the privilege of meeting Matt and he is a real inspiration - the phrase 'Get Busy Living' perfectly sums up his positive attitude and incredible passion for overcoming adversity. He and his incredible team provide a powerful lifeline to those with life changing injuries, giving hope and new direction. Those in sports are naturally driven and competitive and the Foundation helps individuals to find new avenues to rediscover that sense of achievement and live life to the full.

This will be my first attempt at a marathon distance and if a half is anything to go by...  I'd better Get Busy training! :O

Thank you for your support for this exceptional cause, you will be helping to change lives.
