On 2nd October I will be taking part in the London Marathon. I have a lofty fundraising goal of £2000 and it's all in aid of Christie Anna Holt and supporting the work that the Meningitis Research Foundation do.

On 23rd December 2010 my cousin Christie sadly lost her life to septicemia, 24 hours after complaining of a sore throat and headache. Christie a wonderful daughter, step-daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend. 

This will be my biggest physical challenge to date, and a major mental one too. I'll be sharing my updates every week - including the ups and downs of my training journey.
