Story
Hair! I have bloody tons of it. My long hair has been one of my favourite and most prominent features my whole life. Everyone has days where they don't like what they see when they look in the mirror, and growing up when I had those days, I took solace in my long, princess hair. The idea of not having long hair terrifies me and makes me feel a little sick...
And now I'm going to chop it off.
The roaring 20s were all about the bob, so on 31st December 2019, I'll be chopping off my long hair and starting the next decade with a 20s bob... and hopefully raise a bob or two for an incredible charity along the way!
I'm aiming to raise £500 in sponsors for Greenfingers Charity, who build safe and beautiful gardens in children's hospices. The gardens are havens for children with life limiting and life threatening conditions and their families, giving them a place for play, respite and reflection.
The chopped hair will then be donated to The Little Princess Trust to create a free, real hair wig for a little girl with hair loss illness to help her regain her confidence and identity. The Trust aim to "give back what cancer has taken away".
