Over six years ago my grandad was diagnosed with vascular dementia. As time has gone by, my family and I have realised how underfunded dementia research is and how much charities like ARUK need our help. Dementia shatters lives and leaves millions heartbroken. Every pound we raise brings us closer to a cure for the diseases that cause the condition.

I'm taking on the ARUK Virtual Explorer challenge - I will be walking, hiking (including a few Munros) and running to reach my target of 100 miles. I will be posting updates on my progress so keep a look out!
