First climbed in 1923, Velindre offer their latest overseas trek, the 100th Anniversary climb of North Africas highest peak, Mount Toubkal. Located in southwestern Morocco, Mt.Toubkal is the tallest peak in the Atlas Mountains standing at 13,671ft.

Story

So we’ve taken the plunge and signed up for this epic challenge, climbing North Africa’s highest peak – Mount Toubkal, 4,167m high. The trek will raise vital funds for Velindre Cancer Centre which provides hope and support for cancer patients and families in Wales.  We've all had family or friends impacted by cancer so we wanted to support this amazing charity. Every single penny counts, we’d be so grateful for anything you can donate for this wonderful and important cause. Thank you!

Velindre, the Hospital of Hope has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years. Money raised for Velindre Charity helps fund ground breaking research and clinical trials, cutting edge treatments, specialist nurses, support services, therapies, equipment and so much more which are above those provided by the NHS – so donations really do have a significant impact on patients and their families.
