Story
A number of ISG colleagues have set themselves the challenge of running the Clarendon Marathon as a relay team. This means that a team of four runners will each complete a 6.5 mile leg of the marathon route, which runs from Salisbury to Winchester. We are entering 3 mixed teams of 4 and have also enlisted the assistance of some colleageus to act as drivers to ferry the team members to their starting positions deep in the Hampshire countryside, and collect them when they've completed their leg. More about the route and the event can be found here.
We hope to raise as much money as possible for CLIC Sargent, a charity which helps children with cancer. The charity provided a lot of assistance to our ISG colleague, Pan Pantziarka, and his son, George, who suffered from Li Fraumeni Syndrome (LFS), and who died in on 25th April 2011 after enduring his third cancer. You can read more about George and his illness here. We hope you will give generously to our nominated charity for this excellent, and relevant, cause.
