So, I decided to get in on the running act, and join thousands  of others in Manchester, and specifically, 1000 others from the University of Manchester and be part of the #purplewave for the Great Manchester Run. I wasn't quite sure what I was signing up for, being new to this running malarky... but I kept on running through the winter and spring, and the day came and went in a mad crowd of purple. It was a great experience and I am very proud of my time!
