Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My Dad was a very fit and healthy man whom was the life and soul of everything and so much fun. He was such a family man and loved life. He would always hug myself,my brother and loved his 4 grandchildren so much. If we ever needed someone to talk to or advise he would ALWAYS be there for us. Sadly in 2016 he was diagnosed with MND, which was a great shock to him and to the family. But my dad being my dad would never moan about this as he gradually over the year lost control of his legs, then his arms, then his voice and breathing. My Dad was in a electric wheelchair (of which we controlled), had a Mobilty car, specialized bed, A hoist to get in and out of bed, being washed, shaved, teeth brushed ect, and our help and Careers 3 times a day to make all this happen all happened so quickly.
Sadly in July 2017 my Brave Dad lost his fight against this cruel Disease. In the end to speak was so difficult and exhausting for him and his breathing slowed down.
I soo miss everday our chats, hugs and advise, and im doing this because i CAN talk everyday and move about, But my poor dad NEVER had a choice in the end.
From Sunday 15th October at 7pm Till Tuesday 17th October 7am i will NOT speak.
I have a choice to do this
