Story
I thought 2016 was my last Great North Run, I have scoliosis and arthritis in my spine so instead I took to swimming in any body of water I could find. Then my friend said “fancy doing the GNR for St Oswalds Hospice?” and there was really only one answer! I won’t be fast, it will hurt but I am very proud to be challenging myself, I won’t give up and I will remember with ever step with the help of lovely sponsors, I get to contribute to taking kids to the seaside, providing gardens for end of life care, support for carers, day trips, . . . every pound and every step means something incredible. ❤️🩹
