I am running the Virgin London Marathon in April 2014 to raise money for Phab KIDS! Phab Kids create opportunities for Adults & Children of ALL abilities to enjoy life together regardless of any disability.

Those of you who know me well, will know i had a litte boy called Charlie who was starved of oxygen during birth resulting in quite severe Cerebral Palsy. His brain injury was severe but we did what we could to give him as many life experiences in his short life as possible. We were lucky to have Charlie in our lives for 2 years & 8 months despite the Dr's prognosis of him living only weeks. 

2014 will mark 10 years of Charlie passing away and i cant let it pass without doing something amazing for him. This is my way of remembering him, and continuing his legacy of changing lives and attitudes towards disabilty. Phab kids would have been a great charity to help us as a family & i love the idea that we can help raise much needed funds & awareness for this charity who will in turn help other families in a similar situation.

So, despite my lack of fitness, lack of cartilage in my left knee & generally being a bit old....im going to go for it again!!! and will be spending most of my Sundays out in the cold- building up my strength over the winter!!

'Whats my time goal?'....  i dont have one...im not that good at running!!! but if i have to crawl on my hands and knees... as long as i do it and raise as much money as possible then thats cool with me!

So- if you have a spare quid or 2....please donate. Anything will help & it will soon mount up. I HAVE to raise £1650 which is almost as daunting as running the 26.2 Miles!!!
