We save food destined for landfill to turn it into meals for vulnerable people

Story

A group of intrepid cyclists at Womble Bond Dickinson are cycling the 158 miles from the firm's Plymouth office to its Bristol office in two days. We are raising money for our office charity FareShare South West.

FareShare South West is a charity dedicated to tackling food waste and hunger for deprived families and communities. Redistributing high quality surplus food from across the food industry, FareShare South West help charities get vulnerable people get back on their feet while creating a more sustainable food system to prevent food poverty. Every £1 donated is enough to redistribute food for 4 meals to those who need it.

The fundraising target of £6,000 is the equivalent of 24,000 meals. That is saving 10.2 tonnes of surplus food going to waste!

Please help us feed hungry people and save unwanted food from unnecessary waste.

We would be very grateful for any donations!
