Update 23 April
I'm sadly not going to be running the Southampton 10km tomorrow, I managed to get food poisoning on Wednesday and not recovered enough to be able to run. I'm gutted but would like to thank everyone for their donations towards my Bliss fundraising, the money will help the charity support the most vulnerable babies and their families. I hope I've raised more awareness of this great charity and will be wearing my Bliss vest tomorrow to cheer on my lovely friend Lizzi as she runs.
As many of you know, I have started running again after having actual Covid, long Covid then bad chest infection last month. In November 2021 little Sophie Harding decided she wanted to join the world a bit earlier than planned, when she was born at 23.4 weeks I told her mum my 2022 races would be for Sophie. In her name my first race will be the Southampton ABP 10km in April, I will be raising money for Bliss.
Every 5 minutes, a baby is admitted to neonatal care in the UK.Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 100,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
