In 2017 I was rushed into hospital. I was struggling to breathe. 

I had always grown up getting chest infections but this chest infection developed into Asthma. Following this I went to over 20 doctor appointments, stopped running, regularly worried if i had my inhaler on me. 

When I was younger I ran so much. I ran at crystal Palace, I even ran for Bristol in competitions. 10 years later I am ready to get back into it with my trusty blue reliever.

Asthma is so well known. However the constant worries are not. Every month people with Asthma have to pay to breathe. Worry about forgetting their inhaler, worry about having an attack when the weather changes. Not knowing when something will trigger you. I want to bring more awareness to Asthma.

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.I'm running The London Marathon 2023 for Asthma + Lung UK. Theyre the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe.
