Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in The GRIM Challenge on Saturday 4th December, a gruelling 8 mile challenge through mud & water across an Army Vehicle testing range and im doing it to raise money for a charity called ECHO. www.grimchallenge.co.uk

ECHO supports parents, carers, and the family of children who are treated at the Evelina Childrens Hospital, principally for congenital heart defects. They provide information, friendship, and moral support at all tiimes but particularly when parents may feel alone, isolated and desperate, have worries or need guidance & advice. They also provide support and befriend the children themselves as the grow into their teenage years and beyond.

The group I am running the GRIM with have chosen this charity as our friends little boy was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease at just two weeks old. ECHO have helped their family immensely and we would now like to help them thank ECHO.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

If you can spare any amount to give to this wonderful cause, and make mine and my team mates training in the freezing cold & the dark worthwhile it would be greatly appreciated.
