Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for your generous contributions.

My family has been shocked to the core over Easter weekend by my cousin's husband Dan dying very suddenly aged only 35. He leaves behind his wife Jo (my cousin) in her early 30's, their 15m old daughter Jessica and his older daughter Sophie, aged only 10. Plus his parents, sisters and his twin brother. I was bridesmaid to them not even 3 years ago. Where is the justice in that?

So, whilst I wouldn't usually ask for sponsorship to run a marathon as it's my hobby, I have decided to run London on 21st April in Dan's memory, raising money for Epilepsy Action which is the family's charity of choice.  Nothing can take away the pain that those close to Dan are feeling, but if I can raise some money for this great cause, perhaps something good can come from this tragedy.

So, this year's London Marathon will be For Dan.

Barclays will match £4£ any funds I raise up to £750.
