It is times like this that you realise how amazing people are. As you know we have close friends and family who have been impacted by Cancer and The Christie has been fantastic. So when Simon said 'I'm 50 this year, I think we should raise £50,000 for the Christie by getting 50 runners to run 50 miles' - I smiled and poured a glass of wine. Well here we are a few days to go and there are 90 people prepared to run, train, paddle, skip and crawl 50 miles individually or in teams to raise the money for the Christie and I am in awe. The team organising these events has been amazing. There are other events too - Harpur and Quinn Hairdressers are doing a champagne and hair session on the 10th September, Phil and team are organising a bike ride, Steph has been baking cakes, Heath's Dad has been looking for birds and so it goes on - you are all fab.
