This is our second annual swim from Hurst Castle in Hampshire across to Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight.  It's just over a mile but with some of the strongest currents in the UK, timing is crucial and last time I swam around 2 miles as the current swept us towards the Needles!  It was the furthest I've ever swum!

I will be part of a group of strong amateur swimmers who love the ocean and want it to stay clean so we can continue to swim and enjoy the water safely.  Sadly, our oceans and rivers are being increasingly polluted with sewage and Surfers Against Sewage is an amazing charity who keep the focus on the issue, nationally and internationally.
