Story

🎈🎈Update- WE DID IT!!🎈🎈

What an emotional weekend! So many wonderful things achieved- on Saturday Henry and his parents revisted Birmingham Children's Hospital one year on, and met the doctors and nurses who'd cared for him.

On Sunday the Clare's smashed the 10K and have raised over £4,000!!!  So many people we'd like to thank- family, friends, colleagues and  anonymous people who kindly donated. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts- your money will make a huge difference to future children being treated in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and on the Burns ward of the hospital.

The biggest cheer must go to our hero- Henry. The bravest, loveliest, strongest young man who inspired us to get fit for this challenge!  Henry continues to recover so well and never complains. He really is an inspiration 🎈🎈🎈

‐-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just one week to go until we tackle our 10K!

Please read this wonderful update fom Henry's parents...

A year after the accident,
Henry is continuing to recover well. He has achieved his goal to get back to rowing, thanks to his determination and positive mental attitude. He has worked very hard to regain his strength and fitness, and is competing again.

We are grateful to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Burns Ward for their care of Henry. Please support this important Charity to enable them to help children like Henry, recover from illness and injury.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
