Story
So.. Always up for a challenge & trying something different, Martin has decided to attempt this years legendary Weston Beach Race on a Honda 90. (A 90cc step through moped style motorcycle with a average top speed of about 40mph for those who aren’t sure).
This event is iconic for its mile long start straight down the beach along the waters edge & then of course winding your way back down through the man made sand dunes... huge ones... & lots of them!
Martin has ridden the event many times on a sidecar which in itself is a challenge but never on 2 wheels. He will be preparing the bike for its debut appearance at the race this week but, will this be a challenge too far for the acclaimed classic, renowned for its reliability? Both the Cub 90 & Martin that is!!
If you’d like to show your support to Martin please give a donation to his chosen charity, iSight Cornwall, after a good friend lost his sight last year at such a young age.
Anything you give is massively appreciated.
We are the first centre of resource for all in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who are affected by sight loss, whatever their age, circumstance or condition. We care passionately about helping anyone living with a visual impairment and have done ever since our foundation in 1856 when the charity supported Cornish miners. We are ready and willing to afford them support and encouragement to lead active, independent, and involved lives, at home, in the workplace, in their education, and by no means least, in their social lives.
