Raising money for research into Pulmonary Fibrosis
As many of you know my brothers and I lost our wonderful father to this rare and little known lung disease nearly three years ago. Dad loved socialising. In true Mace style, I thought what better way to keep his memory alive than by having a party.
So, on 4th October I have organised in London a gig with a live band, DJ and raffle to support the British Lung Foundation’s research into this ghastly disease. Click on the link below for further details of the event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/take-a-breath-charity-shindig-in-association-with-the-british-lung-foundation-tickets-43982415589
I appreciate not everyone can join us on the night so this page provides an opportunity to make a donation to this very worthy cause.
Imagine having a cough that does not go away; being breathless all the time, so breathless that climbing a flight of stairs becomes almost impossible; being so lacking in energy that doing anything requires enormous effort. Over a period of four years our father turned from being a highly active man who lived life to the full with his family and friends, who sailed across the Atlantic, who enthused everyone he met into a shadow of his former self with all of these symptoms, and more.
The causes of many types of pulmonary fibrosis are not known nor are the cures. But, you can help by donating through this page.
Thank you for taking time to visit my JustGiving page. A huge thank you for your support, it’s much appreciated and could bring a cure for pulmonary fibrosis a step closer.
