Susan Channon, a young mother and worker at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Newcastle where I work, passed away due to breast cancer. The Susan Channon charity was founded by her husband, family and friends. in memory of her, and aims to raise money to aid further research into breast cancer. I am honoured to run the Great North Run for them and hope to raise awareness for an incredible charity.
