I am shaving my head in support of my dear friend Charlie Chowdhry.

Charlie, a mother of 2 young boys was diagnosed with triple positive Breast Cancer in the summer of 2020 during Lockdown. Since having her lumpectomy at the end of September it's been a bumpy road.  Chemo was due to start in October but kept getting pushed back. She finally got to start Chemo on the 30th December with 15 more to go. Normally when a friend is going through something like this you'd be able to help out with the kids or pop round and have a cuppa to help with their recovery. Unfortunately with Covid-19 it just makes things even more difficult for her and her family to have that extra help  from family and friends.

So this is my small gesture to show I care. Although I can't be there physically for her at this time I am with her all the way to watch her kick Cancer's arse! 

I will be shaving my head to raise money for Charlie's chosen charity 'Breast Cancer Now' who have been a great support to her during these difficult times.
