I am going to take part in the 5k race for life in Guildford in May. For people that know me will know that this past year I battled against cancer but am now on the road to recovery after after a gruelling 6 weeks of radiotherapy & chemotherapy. When I discovered that the pubs were taking part I was so eager to join the team! As this charity is very close to my heart! Whatever I can do to help to raise more awareness into cancer research and raise funds too is the least I can do after I have been looked after so well by the NHS trusts in both East Grinstead & Guildford.
