Story
In 2013 I rode 100 hilly miles around Cornwall with Laura in support of Coppafeel. It hurt. A lot! But not as much as missing Laura does...
Every year since she passed, I try and do another challenge for CoppaFeel to honour my darling Dipsister Laura, and to carry on her legacy raising awareness for this charity which meant so much to her in her final years.
The passage of time has clearly made me forget the saddle sore and butt ache I experienced before (!) so this year I'm doing it again! This time alongside my wonderful friends Jo Shalders and Lucinda Budden. Not only do we ride for Laura, but also for our amazing warrior Toria, and all the others who have been told that they have this evil disease.
Please support us as we cripple ourselves up and down Cornwall's hilliest terrain on 2-3rd September!!! We are eternally grateful for any support you can give to help get us up those hills and ensure that by encouraging people to check their boobs, breast cancer can be caught early and treated.
Every single penny counts.
THANK YOU.
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
