10 years ago, we sadly lost our amazing Mum to cancer.  So, in her memory, I will be running the London Marathon to raise as much money as possible for Derian House Children's Hospice based in Chorley.  Situated in the heart of Lancashire, Derian House provides palliative, specialist respite and end of life care for children and young adults throughout the North West region. As a charity receiving minimal statutory funding, they continue to rely almost exclusively on their own efforts to raise the £3.75 million needed to continue to meet the needs of children and families throughout Lancashire and Cumbria!

This was a charity that was close to my Mum's heart and one that she and her friends spent a lot of time raising money for.  Whatever you can afford to give, please be rest assured you will be helping a great cause and meaning I won't be putting myself through this pain and torture for nothing!  Thanks, Claire xx
