*Update - Monday 18th May*
I am really pleased to say that I completed the Moonwalk on Sat Night/Sun Morning in just under 9 hours (about 8 hours walking)
It was a fabulous night (again) and I met some lovely people. As usual, my wonderful parents and Pete met me at the finish, and I shed a few tears for the last mile, as Mum looks so well!
Tina and Lizzie Needham and Marissa Bartlett, all friends of mine completed the Half Moon walk in approx 4-5 hours, which is fantastic!
Thank you for your donations, they mean so much.

Hi there!
I am participating in the Moonwalk for the second year - I found it such a humbling and uplifting experience, I decided to do it again!
The Moonwalk is a 26 mile walk through London at night, by women (and some men) in their bras to raise funds for Breast Cancer through Walk the Walk.
The cause is so worthwhile. So many women of all ages, and their families are affected by Breast Cancer, that the more help given and awareness that can be raised, the better.
Mum had Breast Cancer 2 years ago, and has made a fantastic recovery. Another friend Bel, has also just crossed her 6 years being free from Breast Cancer, and I learnt recently that an old University friend has just finished a tough year of treatment.
WalktheWalk provides so many things to try and make cancer patients journey so much easier. The ice cap certainly helped Mum keep her hair.
I am also pleased that some of my friends also wanted to enter, not all got through this year, but maybe next year there will be more of us!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Walk The Walk Worldwide gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Love Claire
