Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our little boy from birth always had a slightly misshaped head.  We gave it time and his head shape continued to deteriorate.  We raised our concerns on more then one occasion with health visitor.  HV was pleasant but encouraged us to ride it out...... His head continued to get flatter  and soon his head and ears were so unaligned and the little concern was now a big problem!  All health professionals acknowledged the severity of his head however advised that sadly there was no treatment available on the NHS. We did what I'm sure any other parent would do and went to an amazing clinic for treatment at a substantial cost. Headstart4babies are aiming to raise awareness of Plagiocephaly and brachycephaly.  They are providing help and advice to worried parents aswell as assisting families to proceed with treatment. All donations through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
