Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page. We are walking 100km to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my beautiful mum who passed away 5 years ago from pancreatic cancer. 

We will start walking on Saturday morning from Poole and walk throughout the day and night along the coast path, hopefully completing the challenge and arriving at Bridport some time on Sunday.

Very few treatment options currently exist for pancreatic cancer patients and survival rates are shockingly low, with less than 5% of people living for five years or more after diagnosis. These survival rates have barely changed in 40 years.

Since mum received her diagnosis, we only had 10 precious months together and that time was so important to us. We would have given anything for more time and this is why it is so important to raise money, fund research and improve treatment options for pancreatic patients and extend their time with their families and improve their survival and quality of life. 

Any donations big or small would mean the world.
