We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. So this is where I write about why you should sponsor me.......

Simple!

There is so much in the world to look at, not just the obvious things but also the strange and the unexpected. From what I have learnt so far about (blindness/visual impairment) from my best friend Isabel and her Guide dog Jerrilou, and all the great blind/visually impaired people I worked with and supported at Camp Enchanted Hills for the Blind in California.... I still cannot even comphrehend what it would be like not to be able to see and I often dwell upon how devastating it would be to lose my sight.

Do you recognise the joy you get everyday from have the ability to see things?...

I am running the Asics British 10k London run on 6th July to raise money for the RNIB in hope that my contribution can help someone for whom that joy has been denied.

I know someone is always asking for sponsorship somewhere along the line, but please help me raise my target by sponsoring me through this website and donate whatever you can afford.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNIB will receive your money faster.

Many thanks for your support.
