Over recent months many of us have spent more time in the kitchen than ever before and we’ve found comfort in recreating the familiar sights and smells of our favourite recipes.  With this in mind, we’ve decided to pull together the recipes that have got us through lockdown, to create the M&S Bank quarantine cookbook.

The cookbook was developed to help raise funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice which, like many charities, has seen a decline in fundraising as a result of Covid-19. The cookbook is an innovative way to enable us to continue to raise funds for Claire House at this time.

We know Covid-19 has impacted everyone in different ways so there isn’t a set price for the cookbook, but if you’re able to, you can make a donation and then you’ll receive a copy of the digital cookbook via email. Every penny of the money raised will go directly to Claire House.

Throughout Covid-19, Claire House has continued to offer end of life and emergency respite care, and they have done all they can to support the children they care for, and their families. Any support we can provide will make a huge difference to the most vulnerable children in our community and make sure the vital work of Claire House continues throughout this crisis, and beyond.

£5 could pay for a reassuring telephone call to help a family manage their child's symptoms at home

£10 could pay for half an hour of 1:1 specialist nursing for a child being cared for at Claire House

£15 could pay for 3.6 hours of bereavement support and care in Claire House’s Butterfly Suites

£20 could pay for half a counselling session for a worried parent caring for their child at home
