Story
My mum Brenda died November 11th 2005 from lung cancer, it's almost 10 years and not a day goes by where i don't think about her. It happened so fast she was diagnosed in September and died in November and I miss her so much even now.
My mum never got to meet daughter Brenn who is gorgeous and my son who was 3 at the time doesn't remember her either which is sad because she was the best.
So here i am signing up for a half marathon which is crazy because i've never been one for exercise, starting things and not following through. Luckily this is different there's a purpose and even though i'm not expecting to raise thousands if i can help stop someone else's family going through this then it is worth all the sweat, hard work and more than likely blisters along the way.
