In September 2013, my amazing Grandpop was diagnosed with lung cancer. To see such an energetic, loving and hard working man get weaker and weaker over time was cruel to see, yet he continued to show determined strength right through to the end, in February this year. Never again will I be able to see Pop alive, although he will remain in my head and heart for the rest of my life. An incredible role model who has left us with brilliant memories.
