Matt's Fund was set up after Matt Boulton died aged 24 from Melanoma in March 2008 after a 4 year battle with Melanoma; the most serious strain of skin cancer.
The Fund has 3 objectives:
1. To raise funds for research into Malignant Melanoma.
2. To raise awareness of Melanoma/skin cancer
3. To assist in providing aid and assistance for young people (20-30) who are affected by the disease.
Matt was a funny, friendly guy; and a very good friend of Jaime's who I had the pleasure of knowing and spending some time with. It's for this reason that I am trying to do these challenges to raise some money to go towards the aims that Matt's Fund has set out; and towards supporting those who are going through what Matt and his friends and family went throughout the 4 years of battling the disease and when he passed away 2 years ago.
Please dig deep and donate as much as you are able, any amount is greatly appreciated and will be going towards a great cause. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
All donations via this page will go towards supporting Professor Patel and his research work through the hospital and University.
