We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm doing the Cancer Research UK's 10k Race for Life as a challenge to myself and to raise money towards this fantastic cause. I've done the 5k Race for Life events on a few occasions before as well as other 5k events including a zombie obstacle course! This event will really push me to the next level and will not be something that I do easily - it will be a challenge.

I have personally been touched by cancer and lost my wonderful father-in-law to this terrible disease a few years ago. Jim was the best father-in-law a girl could hope for and I miss him every day.

If me challenging myself raises some money and makes me a fitter, healthier person then all is good. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
