I'm doing the Jane Tomlinson 10K in Leeds on Sunday 22nd June raising money for the Yorkshire Cancer Cantre in memory of Paulo, a friend we lost ealier this year to the disease.

I remember having a conversation with Paulo about a parachute jump I done for another friend who also has CF and he asked if I'd do one for him? Course I would but I did the parachute jump to overcome my fear of hights for a friend who was about to under go transplant surgery. Shes now fine and I really enjoyed the jump and would love to do it again, only I didn't feel it was enough of a challenge for me to ask for you to part with yor well eaned cash. But running..............I'm no natural born runner and 10K might as well be the London marathon but Im going to do it.

I'll also be running in a Sheffield Wednesday shirt (possibly quite daring through the streets of Leeds) but Paulo was a HUGE Wednesday fan and he is the inspiration for me doing this.
