We fund research and raise awareness to create a world free from meningitis

Story

After several consecutive years of failing to to secure a place in the London Marathon public Ballot I had convinced myself that routinely entering ran absolutely no risk of securing a place.  I was wrong.

I am now undertaking a grueling training regime to prepare myself for an epic 26.2 mile journey across London with thousands of other lucky ballot winners, charity runners and proper athletes.

Please support me through the dark, lonely, cold and wintery runs by generously donating to Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF).

MRF fund vital research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia,  support people and families affected and work to raise awareness of these devastating diseases.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
